Three Senior Andhra Pradesh Police Officers Suspended Over Illegal Arrest of Mumbai Actress

The officers allegedly harassed Kadambari Jethwani without proper investigation, acting on instructions before an FIR was filed.

The Andhra Pradesh government suspended three IPS officers, including a Director General, for their role in the wrongful arrest of actress Kadambari Jethwani.
Suspended officers include P. Sitharama Anjaneyulu, Kanthi Rana Tata, and Vishal Gunni, who allegedly acted on oral instructions before a formal complaint was registered.
Jethwani accused the officers of conspiring with YSR Congress leader K.V.R. Vidyasagar to harass her and her family over a land-related case.
The actress and her parents were arrested and detained without proper investigation, spending over 40 days in judicial custody.
An inquiry revealed grave misconduct and dereliction of duty by the officers, leading to their suspension and further disciplinary proceedings.
