One suspect has been identified and detained in connection with the bar incident, while another suspect remains at large for an attack near the Uni-Wiesen area.
Authorities have also recorded additional sexual offenses, including seven cases of sexual harassment and two incidents in nearby Düsseldorf.
Despite the crimes, police observed fewer attendees at this year's celebrations, attributing this to heightened security concerns and potential terror threats.
