  • The IGP later recorded a magnitude 4.9 event at 5:06 p.m. 22 km west of Huaral at 89 km depth, also rated intensity III–IV and felt across parts of Lima and Callao.
  • A third quake of magnitude 3.7 was logged at 7:19 p.m. near Ricardo Palma (Huarochirí) at 98 km depth, producing intensity II–III shaking.
  • INDECI and COEN reported no casualties or major structural damage and said monitoring continues, with authorities advising vigilance for potential aftershocks.
  • The Navy issued no tsunami alert, while IGP and civil defense officials reinforced guidance on emergency backpacks, family plans, and immediate protective actions during shaking.
