Overview

• Three people—a 16-year-old boy and two men aged 22 and 26—were arrested on suspicion of murder on June 17.
• Four other suspects, two men and two women, were earlier arrested in connection with the homicide and released on bail.
• The victim, 21-year-old Dale Martin from Derby, was stabbed on Stenson Road shortly before midnight on June 15 and later died in hospital.
• Investigators are examining a possible link to an incident at The Oaklands pub on Oaklands Avenue where knives were reported around 6pm.
• Police have appealed for CCTV or dashcam footage from Oaklands Avenue and Stenson Road and are seeking occupants of a Renault Megane as witnesses.
