Overview
- Queensland Police charged Anthony Thomas Perrett, 38, Billy John Howard, 26, and Gregory Terrence Snell, 57, with murder over the death of Andrew Burow.
- The trio also face counts of kidnapping, extortion and misconduct with a corpse, with Perrett and Howard previously charged with torture and Snell now additionally charged with torture.
- Police allege Burow was taken from Kelvin Grove on August 21 to multiple locations across South-East Queensland, tortured over several days, then killed on or about August 25–26.
- His remains were located beside Brooklands Pimpimbudgee (Pinpinbugie) Road at Maidenwell in September after public information guided investigators.
- Detectives say the meeting with the alleged offenders appears to have been pre-arranged and that only one of the three was known to Burow, with the men expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 8.
