Three Men Charged After Downers Grove Police Underage Sex Sting

All three were released pretrial under electronic monitoring with orders barring contact with minors ahead of their upcoming court appearances.

  • On June 4, Downers Grove police worked with Westmont, Carol Stream and the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group on the operation, and DuPage State's Attorney Robert Berlin said such predatory behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Undercover officers posted an ad on an adult services website posing as an 18-year-old before revealing they were 16 during discussions of paid sexual services.
  • Responding to the ad, 55-year-old Nicholas Flesher, 28-year-old Devonte Robinson and 24-year-old Cameron Konter traveled to a Downers Grove hotel and were arrested upon arrival.
  • Each man faces felony counts of traveling to meet a minor, grooming and solicitation to meet a child.
  • The defendants are scheduled to appear in DuPage County court on June 11, June 12 and June 30, respectively.
