Overview
- West Mercia Police were called to St Martin’s Gate Car Park at around 5pm on July 19 after a report that a man had been threatened with what was believed to be a firearm.
- Armed response teams backed by two dog units and a police helicopter secured the scene and located suspects at a nearby address.
- Two men aged 20 and 21 face charges of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear and violence and making threats to kill.
- A third man was arrested on suspicion of endangering an aircraft after allegedly pointing a laser at the police helicopter.
- All three suspects remain in custody while enquiries continue into the incident.
