Overview

• The fire was lit at around 1am on June 9 after three masked men sawed through Cloud Studio’s metal shutters and used petrol to ignite the blaze.
• A neighbour heard the commotion and doused the flames with buckets of water before they could spread further.
• Cloud Studio, which opened only a few months ago on Piper Knowle Road, suffered significant exterior damage but no injuries were reported.
• Cleveland Police are treating the incident as deliberate, maintaining a visible presence in Hardwick and appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
• This attack follows a string of suspected arson incidents in Stockton since June 1, and officers are investigating possible links between the cases.
