Three Killed in Car and Lorry Crash on A4103 at Bransford

A large critical-care deployment attended the scene.

Overview

  • Emergency services were called shortly after 3:20pm on October 30 to the A4103, the route between Hereford and Worcester, near Bransford.
  • Two women and a man from the car were treated at the scene but were confirmed dead despite advanced life support efforts.
  • The lorry driver was assessed with injuries not believed to be serious and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.
  • Responders included two ambulances, three paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic, three BASICS doctors and Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Strensham.
  • West Mercia Police said officers were responding to a serious two-vehicle collision and managed the scene alongside ambulance crews.
