Overview

• On June 29, a Maruti Ertiga collided with a pick-up near Gudana village on the Jalandhar–Amritsar national highway, causing the car to plunge off a service-lane bridge.
• Three occupants of the pick-up—60-year-old Kalyan Singh, his wife Parveen Kumari, 58, and neighbour Sanjana, 19—died in the impact.
