- At Preston Crown Court on November 13, Hafiz Razaq, 40, identified as the operation’s lead, received two-and-a-half years for conspiracy to supply cannabis to run consecutively with a prior six-and-a-half-year firearms term, totaling nine years.
- Deepak Singh, 40, admitted firearms offences as well as conspiracy to supply cannabis and was jailed for six years and four months.
- Jordan Riddick, 27, a Barrow customer of Razaq, was sentenced to three years and nine months for conspiracy to supply cannabis.
- Surveillance on December 1, 2023, led to a stop on the M6 near Lancaster where officers seized 8.5kg of skunk cannabis from a courier’s car.
- On January 9, 2024, officers intercepted a vehicle carrying 8kg of cannabis intended for Riddick, and a search of Singh’s home recovered three handguns plus 14 rounds of ammunition.
