Overview

• On June 11 at around 10:39 pm, 19-year-old Zaheer Abbas was stabbed in Seelampur and later pronounced dead at JPC Hospital
• Abbas, who worked stitching seat covers alongside his father, was attacked following a dispute with his relative Qasim, Qasim’s son Asif and a 13-year-old
• Delhi Police registered a case under relevant IPC sections and summoned crime and forensic teams to inspect the scene and gather evidence
• All three suspects were arrested by Thursday morning and remain in custody as investigators continue questioning
• Investigators have yet to recover the murder weapon and are pursuing leads to locate the sharp instrument used
