Overview
- Retailers Dennree, Alnatura and dm announced batch-specific recalls on Thursday after public notices on lebensmittelwarnung.de identified Salmonella in pine nuts or could not exclude contamination.
- Dennree pulled two 60 g batches with MHD 03.06.2027 (lot L CA09036) and 16.06.2027 (lot L CA09162), dm recalled dmBio 60 g packs with MHD 31.05.2027–02.07.2027, and Alnatura withdrew its 60 g pine nuts and a 100 g salad-seed mix that included the contaminated nuts.
- Consumers are advised not to eat the listed packs, to return them to the point of purchase for a refund without a receipt, and to seek medical advice if they develop diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain or fever.
- The affected batches were sold across Germany and Alnatura says the tainted articles were removed from sale, illustrating how a single contaminated ingredient can trigger recalls across multiple products and chains.
- Separately, Norderstedter Peter Faden GmbH recalled several beef salami items after a test found Shiga-toxin producing E. coli, underscoring routine surveillance and precautionary market withdrawals by producers and authorities.
