Overview
- S-Bahn Berlin reported three active incidents on Saturday that are upsetting the timetable and prompting official service notices on its homepage.
- A signal repair in Teltow Stadt is delaying S25 and S26 trains and restricting S26 to run only between Potsdamer Platz and Lichterfelde Süd with passengers told to use S25 between Lichterfelde Süd and Teltow Stadt.
- A separate signal repair at Alexanderplatz is causing delays and cancellations on S3, S5, S7 and S9 with S7 split into two disconnected sections and riders advised to use S3, S5 or S9 between Ostbahnhof and Westkreuz.
- A broken track switch at Südkreuz has cut Ringbahn frequency to a 10-minute interval for S41 and S42 and truncated S47 to run only between Spindlersfeld and Schöneweide with S46 suggested as an alternate between Schöneweide and Südkreuz.
- S-Bahn Berlin is urging passengers to allow extra travel time, follow line-specific replacement guidance and expect ongoing repairs that could keep disruptions in place during the day; repeated signal faults have already affected the network since Friday.
