Overview
- The investigation began after a child-rights activist handed a pendrive with video evidence in October 2025 and a POCSO special court ordered renewed inquiries when police tried to close the case.
- A Special Investigation Team intensified the probe and has now registered five separate POCSO cases alleging sexual assault of girls aged about 12–16.
- Police have arrested seven people so far: founder R. Veeramani, two associates (M. Shanthi and Mahendra Simhan), a former employee Ganesan, and three longtime drivers identified as Lazar, Parthiban, and Babu.
- The three drivers were arrested after searches on October 5, when investigators seized eight mobile phones and 55 documents and said the drivers allegedly ferried minors to locations linked to the offences.
- Authorities have detained the main accused and associates under the Goondas Act, recovered video material from a former employee’s phone, opened a public WhatsApp tipline for other victims, and face demands from the ruling party’s legal wing to probe whether earlier officials obstructed the case.
