Three Dead in Pas-de-Calais House Fire, Two Children Survive

A fire early Monday morning in Wingles claimed the lives of three individuals, while two boys managed to escape and were hospitalized.

The fire broke out around 4:15 AM in a house on Rue du Pronet in Wingles, Pas-de-Calais, and was brought under control by 7 AM.
Three people were confirmed dead, with reports suggesting they may be a mother and two of her children, though identities remain unconfirmed.
Two boys, aged 11 and 12, escaped the fire and were transported to a hospital in Lens with non-life-threatening injuries.
Approximately 50 firefighters and 10 emergency vehicles were deployed to extinguish the flames and conduct rescue operations.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and investigations are ongoing to establish the origin of the blaze.
