Three Dead in Globe, Arizona Floods as Mayor Declares Emergency

  • ADOT reopened U.S. 60 in both directions near mileposts 249–252 and restored eastbound access at Superior where it meets SR 177 after overnight clearing.
  • Evacuation shelters were opened at Lee Kornegy Intermediate School in Miami and High Desert Middle School in Globe, as downtown structures sustained significant damage including the Wild Horses Saloon.
