Three Charged in Bearwood Pub Stabbing as Police Arrest Fourth Suspect

The three defendants were scheduled to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court today.

Overview

  • West Midlands Police said a man in his 20s suffered a leg injury during disorder at The Abbey on Abbey Road on 29 November and remains in a stable condition in hospital.
  • Ashton Ryatt, 19, of Smethwick, along with Zachary Mundon, 24, and Joshua Mundon, 30, both of Oldbury, were charged with violent disorder and assault.
  • A fourth man, aged 36, was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and is in custody for questioning.
  • The three charged men were remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on 1 December as the investigation continues.
  • Detectives appealed for witnesses to come forward quoting log 4189 of 29/11/25, after police and paramedics responded to the scene.
