Authorities allege the trio forged autographs and used falsified authentication to sell over 1,100 counterfeit items.
- Robert Capone of Philadelphia and LeeAnn Branco and Joseph Parenti of Rhode Island face 60 felony charges, including forgery and theft.
- The group allegedly used Branco’s position at Beckett Authentication Services to create fake certificates of authenticity for the forged memorabilia.
- Investigators discovered 1,138 counterfeit items, including jerseys, helmets, photos, and footballs, purportedly signed by former NFL player Jason Kelce.
- The scheme caused financial losses of approximately $200,000 to Kelce, TCH Humphreys LLC, and others, according to officials.
- Capone has been arraigned and released on bail, while Branco and Parenti are expected to surrender to authorities ahead of a February 5 preliminary hearing.
