  • Yashoda Gaikwad, in her sixties and battling advanced skin cancer and mental health issues, remains under care at Cooper Hospital in Juhu
  • Investigators report the trio first took her to Shatabdi Hospital late on June 21 but left after being denied admission, later dumping her in Aarey Colony around 3:30 am
  • Shewale confessed he dumped his grandmother out of frustration over mounting treatment costs and repeated hospital refusals to admit her
  • Several NGOs and the National Cancer Institute in Nagpur have offered to fund her ongoing treatment
