Overview

• Police report two armed home invasions on Aug. 31 and Sept. 10 in the Timber Creek Boulevard–Major Mackenzie area, with suspects using an axe, an extendable baton and a handgun.
• Officers located a dark-coloured SUV stolen from Toronto near Yorkleigh Avenue and Scarlett Road, observed five people exit, and arrested three in a backyard as two fled.
• A loaded firearm was seized at the scene and the stolen SUV was recovered.
• Zachary Boyce, 22, Jacoy Montegue, 21, and Jaykell Watson, 22, face charges including robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent and possession of a loaded prohibited firearm.
• A search warrant in Ajax led to drug-trafficking charges for Watson, and police say Boyce and Montegue were on release orders as the investigation continues for two outstanding suspects.
