Three 13-Year-Old Girls Charged After Bus Stop Assault Was Filmed

Police have refused bail to the suspects before their scheduled children’s court appearance today following seizure of phones containing footage of the incident.

  • Police allege the three 13-year-olds intercepted their 14-year-old peer at a Claymore bus stop and forced her at knifepoint to the end of Longstaff Way for the assault.
  • Officers will allege the suspects stripped the girl, whipped her with a phone cord and recorded the attack before fleeing with her top, pants, shoes and mobile phone.
  • NSW Police deployed the PolAir helicopter to help locate and apprehend the trio in Claymore and seized their mobile phones as key evidence.
  • All three girls face aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon charges and one also faces charges of causing and possessing child-abuse material.
  • Police say the victim was known to her alleged attackers and that she received medical treatment following the incident.
