Threat Eases in Kouga as Western Cape Wildfires Trigger New Evacuations

Red veldfire warnings persist under hot, windy conditions.

  • Firefighters report Kouga’s blazes have largely subsided with monitoring ongoing, and earlier evacuees in parts of the municipality have returned home.
