Thornton Crash Claims Lives of Family of Four in Fiery Collision

A speeding Subaru rear-ended an SUV at a red light, causing a fatal fire that killed two parents and their daughters.

The crash occurred Saturday evening at the intersection of Thornton Parkway and Washington Street in Colorado.
Francisco Díaz, Beatriz Núñez, and their daughters Paola, 15, and Nataly, 10, were killed in the SUV.
The Subaru driver, who survived with serious injuries, is under investigation by Thornton police.
A Chrysler van was also involved in the crash but its occupants were unharmed.
A GoFundMe campaign has raised over $67,000 to support the surviving Díaz brothers, aged 20 and 22.
