Overview

- The Great North Air Ambulance activated a paramedic and doctor at 4:26pm and arrived at 4:34pm to work alongside NEAS.
- The patient was taken to hospital by NEAS road ambulance, accompanied by the GNAAS team.
- Cleveland Police said the man remains in hospital with significant leg injuries that are not life-threatening but may be life-changing.
- Collision investigators attended and the one-way approach to the station was closed for hours under a large cordon, reopening at about 7:10pm.
