Thomas Tuchel in Advanced Talks for England National Team Coach Role

The former Bayern coach is reportedly close to an agreement with the English FA to succeed Gareth Southgate.

Thomas Tuchel, former coach of Bayern Munich, is in advanced negotiations with the English FA to become the national team's head coach.
Tuchel, who led Chelsea to a Champions League victory in 2021, is highly regarded in England and could bring his expertise to the national team.
Lee Carsley is currently serving as the interim coach following Gareth Southgate's resignation after losing the Euro final to Spain.
Tuchel would become only the third foreign head coach of the England national team, joining Sven-Göran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
In addition to the national team role, Tuchel is also considered a potential candidate for the managerial position at Manchester United.
