The new agreement puts the 34-year-old within reach of the club's all-time appearance record.

Thomas Muller has agreed to a one-year contract extension with Bayern Munich, extending his stay until 2025.
Muller's previous contract was due to expire at the end of this season, but the new agreement will see him through to his 17th season with Bayern.
Throughout his career at Bayern, Muller has made 684 appearances, scored 237 goals, and provided 261 assists.
Muller has won 32 trophies with Bayern, including 12 Bundesliga titles and two Champions League crowns.
With the new contract, Muller is within sight of the club’s all-time appearance record.
