• Holz brings 16 years as mayor of Kochel am See, six years as CSU district chair, service as deputy Landrat and a Landtag seat since 2023.
• He pledged to hold annual speaking sessions in every Rathaus, cut administrative delays and advance key infrastructure projects including the Wolfratshausen clinic.
• The Freie Wähler have already nominated Ludwig Schmid, setting up a contest to end their 18-year hold on the district leadership.
• Holz confirmed that a successor from the Oberbayern list will fill his Landtag seat and Landtag President Ilse Aigner has guaranteed ongoing support for the district.
