Overview
- Al-Bukiryah confirmed Brdaric as their new head coach on Instagram on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
- The Saudi First Division side is winless after six league games and sits near the bottom with two points, making immediate survival the club’s priority.
- Brdaric left Kosovo’s FC Malisheva while that club was performing well, having led them to a near-top position after winning five of seven league games.
- A former Bundesliga forward with 204 appearances and eight German caps, Brdaric is known for attacking football and a long string of short international jobs.
- His appointment continues Saudi clubs’ trend of hiring foreign coaches and could quickly affect Al-Bukiryah’s chances of avoiding relegation and the club’s coaching stability.
