  • Day 4 at Resorts World trimmed the field from 40 to 16 in a fast three-level session, with play set to reach the final six on Tuesday before Wednesday’s finale.
  • Boivin bags the chip lead into Day 5, with Richard Green, Baurzhan Akimov and Ekrem Bozkirt among the closest stacks.
  • PokerStars ambassador Jennifer Shahade advances in 13th with 550,000 chips and would set a new personal best with a finish of sixth or better.
  • Former Day 3 leader Kai Nicholls exited in 17th and early Day 4 saw Jesse Lonis fall in 38th, with Matthew Salsburg, Jeremy Ausmus, Shannon Shorr, Ryan Riess, Toby Lewis and Evan Sandberg also eliminated.
  • Remaining players are guaranteed at least $29,350 as they chase the $653,050 top prize; earlier in the festival Stephen Chidwick won the 23-entry $50,000 Super High Roller, earning CardPlayer POY points but none from the GPI.
