Third Suspect in Mississauga Homicide Arrested in B.C.

Held in Surrey on July 15, the 22-year-old suspect was flown to Ontario to face first-degree murder charges with investigators still seeking new leads

  • The 22-year-old known as Shaheel was detained in Surrey with assistance from Delta Police and the RCMP before his extradition to Ontario
  • On May 28, Peel Regional Police arrested 21-year-olds Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay in Delta, B.C., charging both with first-degree murder
  • Business owner Harjeet Dhadda, 51, was shot multiple times in a Mississauga parking lot near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way on May 14 and later died in hospital
  • Police quickly located and recovered the stolen 2018 black Dodge Challenger used by the suspects to flee the scene
  • Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau continues to investigate and is urging anyone with information to contact investigators
