Overview
- The fatal stabbing occurred on Thursday 23 July on Ridgway Road, Shelton, and left Christopher Bradbury, 44, dead at the scene.
- Staffordshire Police opened a homicide inquiry called Operation Greenman and emergency crews including West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Midlands Air Ambulance attended.
- Three local men have been charged with murder — Subhan Nadeem, 20, Dhannish Mahmood, 19, and Hassan Ahmed, 19 — and have appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre with one remanded to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
- Investigators have made multiple other arrests during the probe, a 24-year-old was released with no further action and a 17-year-old has been bailed as enquiries continue.
- Police are asking anyone who was in Hanley Park or on Ridgway Road between about 6pm and 8pm on 23 July to contact them and they have urged the public not to share footage from the scene.
