Overview

• Alyxander Fraser, 35, from Rhyl, North Wales, has been charged with conspiracy to murder and remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
• The shooting happened in the early hours of September 13 in a parking area off Far Gosford Street near Coventry University.
• Two other men were previously charged: Mohammed Ali Khan, 31, of Branksome Road, Coventry, in September, and Nicholas Buckley, 35, of Broomfield Place, who appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on October 4.
• The victim suffered serious gunshot injuries and is continuing to recover after hospital treatment.
