• CSIR-Aroma Mission reported engagement of over 5,000 farmers and entrepreneurs, with 3,000 families cultivating lavender across 750 hectares in Bhaderwah

• The festival’s field visits and live distillation demonstrations introduced participants to on-site farming practices and end-to-end oil extraction processes
• A Buyer-Seller Meet connected growers with industry stakeholders to explore new markets for essential oils, cosmetics and other lavender-based products
• Delegations from Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and North-Eastern states attended the event to study the rural entrepreneurship model for potential replication
