Third Arrest Made in Philadelphia Bus Stop Shooting

A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting of eight teenagers at a Northeast Philadelphia bus stop, with a fourth person still at large.

A 19-year-old was arrested on Tuesday, following the earlier arrests of Jamaal Tucker and Ahnile Buggs, both 18, who are charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related crimes.
The shooting occurred last Wednesday at Rising Sun and Cottman Avenues, injuring eight high school students.
Authorities have recovered a fully loaded, fully automatic weapon matching evidence found at the scene.
Two of the victims were critically injured, but all are now in stable condition.
The city's leadership, including Mayor Cherelle Parker and Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel, has pledged to focus on prevention, intervention, and enforcement to address the spate of transit crime.
