Third Arrest Made in Blackburn Christmas Day Murder Investigation

Police continue to investigate the death of Kirk Marsden, who was fatally struck by a car following a bar altercation.

Kirk Marsden, 37, died after being hit by a Toyota Land Cruiser outside The Gate Street Bar and Grill in Blackburn on Christmas Day.
Police have now arrested three individuals on suspicion of murder, including a 26-year-old man detained on Saturday evening.
A 31-year-old man remains in custody, while a 58-year-old man has been released on conditional bail.
Investigators are appealing for CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area between Livesey Branch Road and Brindle Street around the time of the incident.
Marsden's family paid tribute to him as a beloved partner, father, son, brother, and uncle, expressing their profound loss.
