Thilo Kehrer Joins Monaco on Loan from West Ham

The 27-year-old Germany defender returns to the French league, with an option for Monaco to buy after the loan period.

Thilo Kehrer, the 27-year-old Germany defender, has been signed by Monaco on loan from Premier League club West Ham for the rest of the season.
The deal includes an option for Monaco to buy Kehrer after the loan expires.
Kehrer returns to the French league after an inconsistent spell with Paris Saint-Germain from 2018-2022, and a stint with West Ham where he made 27 league appearances last season but only four this season.
Kehrer played a key role in West Ham’s Europa Conference League triumph last season, but has seen his opportunities limited in 2023-24 due to the arrival of fellow defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Monaco is currently in third place in the French league, seven points behind leader PSG.
