- Nicki Thiim secured pole in Saturday qualifying with a new GT3 record of 1:19.463, beating Arjun Maini by 0.062 seconds.
- Arjun Maini qualified second in the HRT Ford Mustang while Mercedes' Lucas Auer took third and Jules Gounon and Maro Engel completed a Mercedes trio in fourth and fifth.
