- CCTV shows a blue car reverse onto the pavement outside a Londis on Kingston Road and, after a man tried to smash the machine with a hammer, attach cables and tow the ATM from its mounting at about 00:50 on Wednesday, 29 July.
- The Met opened an investigation under incident reference 302/29JUL, has seized an abandoned vehicle linked to the incident, and says no arrests have yet been made.
