Theorycraft Will Shut Down Supervive in February After Final Patch

The studio says steep player drop-off made ongoing live operations unsustainable.

Overview

  • Servers are scheduled to go offline and the game will be delisted from Steam on February 25, 2026, at which point it will be unplayable.
  • Patch 2.04 launched today with the prototype Prisma Party mode and a final bundle of skins granted to all players, marking the last planned update.
  • In-game purchases have been disabled, and refunds are available for purchases made since September 16, according to the studio’s announcement.
  • Executive producer Jenn Nam said many players tried the game but did not stay, with concurrent counts falling to the low hundreds on Steam.
  • Theorycraft has not announced layoffs tied to the closure and says it will refocus on a smaller, more sharply scoped project next.
