Theodore McSwine, 47, Identified in Highland Rollover Crash

Police have not determined why the Jeep left U.S. 41.

Overview

Highland police said the fatal single-vehicle crash happened around 4:39 a.m. Wednesday in the 9200 block of U.S. 41/Indianapolis Boulevard.
Officers found a 2021 Jeep that left the roadway, entered an empty lot at 9227 Indianapolis Boulevard, struck a tree, and rolled over.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The victim was identified as Theodore McSwine, 47, of Highland, by authorities.
The Lake County Coroner's Office conducted an autopsy on Wednesday, and the investigation remains open with no cause determined.
