The Weeknd's 'Hurry Up Tomorrow' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 490,500 equivalent album units, marking the largest debut of 2025 so far.
This is the artist's fifth No. 1 album and his biggest debut week to date, surpassing the first-week sales of his 2020 album 'After Hours' by 6,000 units.
The album includes collaborations with Giorgio Moroder, Anitta, Travis Scott, Lana Del Rey, and others, and has already generated 171.5 million on-demand streams.
'Hurry Up Tomorrow' will be accompanied by a Lionsgate-produced suspense thriller film directed by Trey Edward Shults, featuring The Weeknd, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan, scheduled for release on May 16.
The album's success was bolstered by multiple physical and digital formats, including exclusive editions with bonus tracks and signed variants, contributing to 359,000 in album sales.
