Developed by Harmonix, the studio behind the Rock Band video game franchise, Fortnite Festival allows players to perform in a band with friends or solo on stage with hit music.
The Weeknd-themed additions will join new items, weapons, vehicles, and more found in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.
Fortnite Festival is not Fortnite's first venture into the music scene, having previously produced high-profile music events for artists like Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, and J Balvin.
Fortnite aims to create a platform where artists and community creators can engage with their communities globally, with the hope of having something like this happening in Fortnite every day.
