The Waterboys' 16th studio album, 'Life, Death and Dennis Hopper,' is set to release on April 4, 2025, via Sun Records.
The album is a 25-track concept piece chronicling Dennis Hopper's life and the evolution of Western pop culture over the last 75 years.
Contributors include Bruce Springsteen, Fiona Apple, Steve Earle, Taylor Goldsmith, and members of The Go-Go's, among others.
The first single, 'Hopper’s on Top (Genius),' will debut on January 10, offering a glimpse into the album's narrative scope.
Mike Scott describes the project as an exploration of Hopper's legacy and 'the strange adventure of being a human soul on planet Earth.'
