‘The Voice’ Alum Ryan Whyte Maloney’s Death Ruled Suicide After Argument with Fiancée

The 44-year-old singer fatally shot himself in Las Vegas following a dispute over a jacket, according to police reports.

The dispute reportedly escalated when Maloney, who was intoxicated, retrieved a handgun from the glove compartment and exited the vehicle, ultimately fatally shooting himself.
Surveillance footage from nearby casinos captured parts of the incident, and Maloney’s fiancée immediately called 911 after witnessing the shooting.
Maloney had previously spoken about his struggles with mental health and had a history of self-harm, as confirmed by police and past social media posts.
