The final season will consist of six episodes, making it the shortest season of the series.
Returning cast members include Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, and others, with new additions such as Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally.
The season will pick up after a major cliffhanger, with the Hargreeves siblings stranded in an alternate universe without their powers.
The series has surpassed the story of the source material, but the show's creator, Steve Blackman, has been in talks with comic creators Gerard Way & Gabriel Bá about the ending.
