• Jimmy Fallon will film the episode at the Detroit Opera House on Sunday, Sept. 14, air it Sept. 15 on NBC, and make it available on Peacock Sept. 16.
• NBCUniversal is partnering with Ford, which is collaborating on a lineup of guests with Detroit ties and has supported the Opera House for more than 20 years.
• The Detroit special will lead into monthly post–Sunday Night Football editions of The Tonight Show beginning Sept. 21.
• Fallon’s Sept. 14 commitment means he will miss the 2025 Emmys in Los Angeles, where he is nominated for SNL50 and the show’s short-form series.
