‘The Tattooist of Auschwitz’ Series Teaser Released

Sky and Peacock unveil teaser for drama series based on Heather Morris's bestselling novel, premiering May 2.

The six-part limited series, inspired by the true story of Holocaust survivors Lali and Gita Sokolov, stars Melanie Lynskey and Harvey Keitel.
Based on the international bestselling novel by Heather Morris, the series recounts the love story of Lali and Gita, who met in Auschwitz during WWII.
Harvey Keitel plays an elderly Lali Sokolov, recounting his harrowing experiences and love story to a novice writer played by Melanie Lynskey.
The series features original score by Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer and Kara Talve.
‘The Tattooist of Auschwitz’ is a co-production between Sky and Peacock, set to premiere in the United States and several European countries.
