- Apple TV+’s The Studio collected key below-the-line prizes for casting, production design, music supervision, picture editing, sound and contemporary costumes, while HBO’s The Penguin triumphed in makeup, hairstyling, costumes, sound and visual effects.
- Severance, this year’s top overall nominee with 27 nods, scored six Creative Arts Emmys including cinematography, original score, title design, production design and sound mixing, plus a guest-acting win for Merritt Wever.
- Guest acting winners were Bryan Cranston (The Studio) and Julianne Nicholson (Hacks) in comedy, with Shawn Hatosy (The Pitt) and Merritt Wever (Severance) taking the drama categories.
- Julie Andrews earned Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for Bridgerton, her third Emmy, as genre-forward entries also fared well with Andor (four wins) and Arcane (Animated Program and additional animation honors); The Boys led stunts and won original song.
- The Creative Arts Emmys span two nights at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater, with Night Two focused on variety, reality and nonfiction before an FXX highlights broadcast on Sept. 13 and the live Primetime Emmys on Sept. 14 on CBS and Paramount+.
