The Sims 4 developers have clarified that the game will not be coming to the Nintendo Switch, despite rumors sparked by an error on EA's official website.
The error led many to believe that a port for Nintendo’s hybrid console was finally in the works, but this was quickly debunked by The Sims Direct Communications account.
The Sims 4 is currently only available on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Previous versions of The Sims have been released on Nintendo hardware, including the DS, 3DS, and Wii.
The possibility of a future release on the rumored Switch 2 or with the release of Sims 5/Project Rene remains uncertain.
